- Input: Microphone level on a 3-pin XLR connector
- Output: Line level on captive screw connector
- Selectable 48 volt phantom power for condenser microphones
- Recessed front panel gain pot with security cap — A continuous, rotary trim pot allows for precise setting of microphone input gain from +25 to +72 dB to accommodate various microphone signal levels. The pot is recessed on the front panel and can be concealed with a security cap to prevent unauthorized use.
- Remote volume and mute control port — In basic installations without control systems, this port allows the MP 101 AAP to be remotely controlled using the optional Extron VCM 100 or VCM 200 Volume and Mute Controller or VC 50 Volume Controller.
- XLR input for direct microphone connection
- Mute button for microphone input muting with dual indicator LEDs — Easily allows the presenter to mute the microphone input. An LED reference gives visual feedback as to whether the mic is active or muted.
- Selectable 75 Hz low cut filter — Reduces rumble and wind noise.
- Mounts in products that accept a double-space AAP - Architectural Adapter Plate
- Energy-efficient external universal power supply included, replacement part # 70-775-01 — Provides worldwide compatibility, low power consumption, and reduced operating costs.
