- Input: Microphone level on a 3-pin XLR connector
- Output: Line level on captive screw connector
- Selectable 48 volt phantom power for condenser microphones
- Recessed front panel gain pot with security cap — A continuous, rotary trim pot allows for precise setting of microphone input gain from +25 to +72 dB to accommodate various microphone signal levels. The pot is recessed on the front panel and can be concealed with a security cap to prevent unauthorized use.
- Remote volume and mute control port — In basic installations without control systems, this port allows the MP 101 D to be remotely controlled using the optional Extron VCM 100 or VCM 200 Volume and Mute Controller or VC 50 Volume Controller.
- XLR input for direct microphone connection
- Selectable 75 Hz low cut filter — Reduces rumble and wind noise.
- Mounts in an included Decora®-style wallplate — The MP 101 D can be installed with a one-gang electrical box or Extron MR 100 Mud Ring, part # 70-519-12.
- Energy-efficient external universal power supply included, replacement part # 70-775-01 — Provides worldwide compatibility, low power consumption, and reduced operating costs.
